September 2008 Gerald & Norma Harris from Cardiff Our second visit to Tŷ Faenor: A comfortable, convenient place to stay and even better equipped than before.
September 2008 The 'Adams' Family from Halesowen, West Midlands One of the best cottages we have visited, attention to detail makes the stay at Tŷ Faenor great. Ideal location for walking & touring. Ran out of time, will return soon.
August - September 2008 Eileen, Jerry, Philip & Lauren Baker from Ystrad Mynach, Glamorgan Cottage ideally suited us and was a good base from which we visited St Davids, Scolton Manor, Haverfordwest and the chocolate factory. The estuary is superb for wading birds and late evening sunset was most memorable.
August 2008 John & Isi Hopkins from Bonvilston and ed Jones from Cowbridge Lovely House & very convenient location.
August 2008 Tara, Simon & Jack Lloyd from Cardiff The perfect location in Newport! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
August 2008 The Evans Family from Cirencester Another great week at Tŷ Faenor. The addition of the wetroom downstairs was a godsend with three sandy children!
July - August 2008 Becky Flint from Chiswick, London A lovely little house, beautifully maintained and easy to keep an eye on my crawling baby! I have stayed in many cottages in Wales and it is great to find one that is modern, clean and well equipped. The neighbours were lovely - I will come again!
July 2008 June and Brian Rees & June's Mum from Blackwood, Gwent This is our 3rd visit to Newport with my Mum who is 87. Tŷ Faenor provided everything we wanted. Very comfortable and loved every minute of staying in this great cottage. Perfect location and spotlessly clean. Cannot wait to return next year. Absolutely adore Newport Pembs. Views everywhere are fantastic and my Mum is able to walk the area around The Parrog. Golden Lion still as good as ever for good food.
June - July 2008 Gareth, Dona, Iorwerth & Bleddyn from Llantwit Major The cottage provided us with an excellent base, fixtures and fittings top notch!
June 2008 Margaret, Ann and Maureen from Neath (The Merry Widows!) The cottage is beautifully furnished and very comfortable. We've walked the coastal path to the 'Old Sailors' at Pwll Gwaelod and across Newport Sands to the headlands beyond. the Poppit Rocket is an excellent way to get around. Food at the Golden Lion is excellent and the local butcher supplied us with wonderful sausages, bacon and meat. We were also blessed with warm, sunny weather.
